Focusing on the Differences

When you focus on the differences between yourself and others, it can lead to negative behaviors. These behaviors can have very real and serious consequences.

When we have conflict with others, we often focus on differences. We may not want to be empathic. It can be easy to ignore someone else's feelings when you are in the moment. This is especially true when you are trying to not connect with someone you view as different.
