Timing
Pay attention to see if there are times of day when you tend to become angrier. Do you tend to fight on the weekend? Do you tend to fight at night? It might be that you fight more easily at a certain time because you are tired or distracted. Maybe it's because you are used to fighting then. Make it a point to avoid discussing important things during these times of day.
Find alternatives
If you find yourself in the same situation over and over again, it might be best to change things up. Try to rearrange your schedule or change your seating to avoid a triggering person. Take a different route to avoid traffic.
