Your Reasons
Your reasons for using play a big role in whether or not drug use will impact your life through negative consequences or habitual use.
Some people use because they like how it feels, but there are a lot of other reasons. The graph below shows how strongly you endorsed each common reason for using.
In general, the stronger your reasons for use, the more likely you are to develop an addiction and dependency to the drug. It also puts you at a higher risk for experiencing negative consequences from drug use.
In addition, the more reasons that people use, the more likely they are to use and to experience problems as a result of their use.
